After dropping all four games last week, the Indy Fuel will play a midweek game against the Toledo Walleye on Wednesday night. The Walleye come into Wednesday night having won six out of their last seven while the Fuel are looking to get out of their four-game losing skid at home.

LAST TIME OUT
Facing off against the Toledo Walleye for the second time in a week, the Fuel closed out three games in three days on Sunday night. After giving up the first goal of the game in the first period, The Fuel’s Mike Lee later tied the game, but Brandon Schultz gave the Walleye their lead back and made it 2-1 with 51.8 seconds left in the frame. Toledo would go on to score three more goals, earning themselves a 5-1 win.
HOME COOKING
Coming into Wednesday night, the Indy Fuel are 12-6-0-1 when playing at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. Facing the Walleye for the third time at home this season, the Fuel have lost by a combined score of 7-2 in their first two contests.
SCORING FIRST
Entering Week 16 of the ECHL season, the Fuel are 13-5-2-1 when scoring the first goal of the game. On top of scoring the first goal of the game, the Fuel have a 9-1-0-1 when leading after the first period and 15-1-0-1 when leading after the second period. If the team isn’t leading after the first period, the Fuel are 3-12-0-1.
LEE LEADING THE WAY
Tallying six goals and 25 assists in 37 games this season, Mike Lee leads all ECHL defensemen in assists this season. Quarterbacking Indy’s first power-play unit, Lee has picked up 13 helpers while on the man advantage, putting him second in the ECHL in that category. In his first full professional season, Lee has sat atop the league standings in points among defensemen and has earned himself two AHL tryouts with the Hartford Wolf Pack and Rockford IceHogs.
