INDY FUEL WEEK 24 RESULTS: 1-1-1-0INDY FUEL OVERALL RECORD: 39-23-5-0 Overall (3rd Central)

GAME 65 - FRIDAY, MARCH 31 VS WHEELING - 3-1 W

The Fuel hosted the Wheeling Nailers to kick off another three-in-three weekend on Friday night and ultimately took the win 3-1 over Wheeling.

GAME 66 - SATURDAY, APRIL 1 AT TOLEDO - 5-4 L

The Fuel visited the Toledo Walleye for their final meeting before the playoffs in an effort to get a late season win against the second place Walleye. Despite going up 2-0 early in the first period, the Fuel fell 5-4 in regulation.

GAME 67 - SUNDAY, APRIL 2 VS KALAMAZOO - 3-2 OTL

The Fuel hosted the Kalamazoo Wings for the last time of the season attempting to claim their tenth win over the K-Wings. While they did claim a point for forcing overtime, it was Kalamazoo who took the win, 3-2.

• Forward Matus Spodniak signed ATO on 3/30
• Forward Darby Llewellyn claimed on waivers from Tulsa on 3/30
• Forward Colin Bilek assigned by Rockford on 3/30
• Defenseman Koletrane Wilson assigned by Rockford on 3/30
• Forward Chase Lang placed on IR on 3/31

OIL DROPS 

• With five points on the weekend, Alex Wideman extended his single season best in points and the Fuel’s single season record for most points with 69 total.
• Wideman is also four points away from tying the all-time Fuel points record of 167 that Spencer Watson set earlier this season.
• With a start and win on Friday night over Wheeling, that marked Cam Gray’s first set of back-to-back starts won.
• With his 26th goal last weekend, forward Chad Yetman is just five goals away from tying the Fuel’s single season best 31 goals achieved twice by Spencer Watson.

TEAM NOTES

• Through 67 games, the Fuel have averaged 13.9 penalty minutes per game which is eleventh highest in the league.
• Indy is 32-21-10-1 when scoring first in a game.
• The Fuel’s power play record has dropped to thirteenth in the league with a 20.8% success rate.
• The Fuel still score the most in the second period with 81 second period goals so far this season.
• Indy ranks sixth in the league in shots against with 1,985 which is an average of 29.63 shots per game. 
• The Fuel are 25-12-3-0 when outshooting their opponent. They are 11-11-3 when getting outshot.
