Indy Fuel | FUEL HEAD TO IOWA FOR TWO GAMES THIS WEEKEND

INDIANAPOLIS - The Fuel will travel to Iowa to take on the Heartlanders for the first time in their arena this season.

LAST TIME OUT

These two teams last met in Indy for an overtime matchup on December 7. The Heartlanders would take the victory 2-1 in the extra time after a hard-fought battle on both sides.

NOT YOUR AVERAGE JOE

Ben Gaudreau was the netminder in the last two matchups against the Heartlanders but Joe Vrbetic is in line to start after two straight starts against on Wednesday and Friday. Vrebtic has played some of his best games this season on the road, including a shutout victory in Kalamazoo on December 15. His 1.73 goals against average will be tested against the second-best team in the Central Division.
