INDIANAPOLIS- The Fuel will host the Wichita Thunder for a two-game set this weekend, beginning with a Saturday night matchup for Indy 500 Night.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams played was February 24, 2024 when the Thunder claimed a 4-3 overtime victory. All three Fuel goalscorers in that game are still on the roster. Colin Bilek and Brett Bulmer scored on the power play while Kale Howarth opened the scoring with an even strength goal. All three will be important again against Wichita.
MOUNTAIN OPPONENTS
While the Fuel have won all five games against their Mountain division opponents so far this year, Wichita sits in fourth place in that division, closely behind Tulsa and Tahoe who are tied with 70 points, and Kansas City who sits atop the Mountain division and the Fuel have beaten once this season. This game will give one team two important points as they are in a tight race for their respective divisional playoff spots.
