FISHERS- The Fuel have announced on Thursday that they have signed forward Noah Aboflan to a standard player contract for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
Aboflan, 21, will make his professional debut with the Fuel this season. He is a 6’0 forward from Elliot Lake, Ontario, who shoots left-handed. He joins the Fuel from the Greater Sudbury Cubs of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL), where he tallied seven points in ten games in the playoffs, helping them to a championship.
Prior to that, Aboflan played for the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he also helped the Knights to an OHL championship in 2025. That team went on to win the Memorial Cup, making him a CHL Memorial Cup champion that season too.
During the 2023-24 season, after averaging over a point per game for the Elliot Lake Vikings of the NOJHL, he joined the Pelham Panthers of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL). He had 13 points in 16 games in the regular season and four points in five playoff games.
He also claimed a GNML championship during the 2021-22 season with the Soo Greyhounds U18 AAA team.
